bio

I am a Chicago-based interdisciplinary artist working in drawing and painting, informed by writing and performance. My praxis is motivated by rational inquiry, and the need for supplementary processing systems that allow me to make sense of experience as an ADHD individual. Topics range from the deeply personal to the sociopolitical, combining intimate relationship dynamics with contextual history and emotional events. Intersecting concepts are distilled through states of flow, and reproduced through visual language and/or text, elucidating what Édouard Glissant referred to as the internal landscape.
